Access is along a country lane through olive groves. The medieval town of Licciana Nardi with shops, restaurant, schools and bank is 5 minutes drive.

The stone barn which has been restored and extended by the current owners is set in land of 9,000 sqm with fruit and olive trees.

Accommodation insludes rustic kitchen with exposed stone walls and marble worktops, large room with picture windows and a glass door which leads out to the garden and pool are . A wooden staircase leads to the double bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The bedroom also has a door with steps down to the garden.

There is a built in barbecue and pergola in the garden.

The house is only 5 minutes from the lovely town of Licciana Nardi, which is a town in the Taverone valley with 13th century pedestrian street flanked with local shops. Central in the town is the Piazza del Municipio which hosts the Malaspina castle and many festivals such as the Chestnut Festival in the autumn. There is also a bank, schools, restaurants and medical facilities. The nearby village of Monti has a castle on the hill above and offers a good selection of amenities.

Lunigiana is a magical part of Tuscany The rolling landscape is liberally sprinkled with castles of Medici or Malaspina vintage but for lovers of the coast the sea is only half-an-hours’ drive away.
