The south of the town has been the subject of constant regeneration over the past few years with the refurbishment of the sports centre at handy cross, the addition of an extra supermarket and retail outlets to compliment the existing shops and entertainment complex. there are some excellent schools in the area including grammar schools for both boys and girls. High Wycombe town centre has a wide range of facilities and mainline railway station linking London Marylebone in under 25 minutes.
