Description

This wonderful property is presented over three floors and is approached by a pretty flint walled south aspect front garden into the front porch. From there, the ground floor has a good size living room/diner and separate kitchen/breakfast room opening onto the walled rear courtyard: on the first floor is the principal bedroom with excellent fitted wardrobes and very spacious bathroom/shower with roll top bath and fitted shower enclosure; and on the top floor you will find a super spacious large bedroom with plenty of office/workroom space plus its own en suite shower room. A parking space maybe available close to the property, by negotiated arrangement with a neighbour. Please ask us for more detail.

The house is not in the Conservation Area and is not nationally listed but in 2015 was included by Brighton and Hove City Council on its local Listing as a good quality example of a late 19th century former farm workers house which contributes to the street scene and the character of the historic village. The adjacent middle house of the three has a date of 1891. The present owner has recently invested considerable sums intended to provide an extremely comfortable living environment whilst protecting the overall presentation of this period property. There is of course gas central heating from a Worcester boiler, quality double glazing throughout and an attractive finish to the solid ground floor level.
