Description

A delightful extended home in a prime residential location.

Description

Sunnyridge is a semi detached family home in a peaceful location at the end of a no through road in the desirable western Aberdeen suburb of Cults. Built in the 1950s and extended in the early 2000s, this deceptively spacious home comprises five bedrooms, the principal with an en suite, and three reception rooms. Fine southerly views of the Dee Valley can be enjoyed from the house. The corner position of the property allows for a generous garden which wraps around the property and there is parking for four cars in the drive.

To the front of the property is a large gravel drive with space for four cars. Steps lead to a wide paved terrace at the front of the house. A part glazed front door leads to the vestibule with a glazed inner door to the hall. The hall has hardwood flooring, a walk in coat cupboard and a pine staircase to the first floor. The sitting room, which has a south facing bay window to the front, is a square proportioned room with a multi fuel stove as a focal point. There is a home office, also with a southerly aspect, and two doors to the hall. At the rear of the house is the family room/bedroom 5 which has a 1950s tiled fireplace and a bay window overlooking the back garden. Across the hall is a shower room.

There is a spacious sitting room/dining room extension to the rear of the property that was built in the early 2000s. This triple aspect room has French doors to the garden and hardwood flooring. A door connects to a passage which leads past the utility room to the kitchen. The utility room has a door to the garden, fitted wall cupboards and worktop space with washing machine, fridge and freezer beneath. The kitchen is a bright room with dual aspect and has a horseshoe shape expanse of fitted units with a breakfast bar, larder cupboards and Neff appliances including a gas, electric oven and microwave combi oven.

On the first floor landing there is a cupboard housing the hot water tank and a further walk in cupboard. The family bathroom with a jacuzzi bath is a spacious room with a large window. The principal bedroom at the rear of the property is extremely spacious and has three Velux windows and an en suite shower room.

There are three further bedrooms on the first floor: two to the front of the property are very spacious and have views of the Dee Valley. Bedroom 4 to the rear has a Velux window.

Outside:
Sunnyridge has a large back garden which is mostly lawn with mature trees including copper beech and rowan. To the front, there is a gravel drive, rockery garden and paved terrace.
