Description

Guide Price £900,000 - £950,000

Welcome to this effortlessly cool Victorian terrace on the ever-charming Markhouse Avenue, where vintage vibes meet contemporary flair. Nestled in the heart of Walthamstow, this house offers a timeless elegance with original features that’ll make you weak at the knees—think restored wooden floors, cast iron radiators, and the signature charm of double-glazed sash windows.

With kerb appeal that stops traffic, the bricked facade draws you in, setting the stage for a home that's been lovingly restored over the last 10 years by the current owners. From the moment you step inside, the flow is perfect—ground floor boasts a fully-specced-out kitchen where your culinary dreams come true, and the first floor hosts three airy bedrooms plus a jaw-dropping family bathroom (we mean, wow).

Need more space? The loft is where it gets really exciting: two sun-soaked double bedrooms that whisper “urban retreat,” with a stunning en suite shower room in the larger of the two.

And, let’s talk location: moments from St James Park and Walthamstow Marshes, your weekend adventures are sorted. Plus, St James Street Station and Walthamstow Market are just a short stroll away, ensuring you're never far from all the action, coffee shops, and cool spots this vibrant neighbourhood has to offer.

Already coming in at over 1334 square feet, there’s potential to go even bigger with a side return extension if you're after more space. But honestly, this beauty already ticks all the boxes, offering that perfect balance of classic character and modern luxury. Come see it, fall in love, and make it yours.

About haart, Walthamstow

143-145 Hoe Street, London, E17 3AL
Industry affiliations:
haart Walthamstow

Walthamstow is 12 miles north east of central London. From here a range of stations will get you quickly into the West End or through to Liverpool Street if you work in the City. The M11 and M25 are easily accessible too.

Walthamstow Village has long been popular thanks to its ancient church, almshouses and pretty cottages. It also has some lovely independent shops and cafes and characterful Edwardian and Victorian homes. The rest of the area was badly bombed during WWII, so properties are more modern, but the whole of Walthamstow is now in demand for its affordability and sense of cool.

First time buyers as well as families are flocking here, many upsizing from nearby Shoreditch and Hackney, and drawn here by the good primary and secondary schools.

The haart Walthamstow office is open Monday to Saturday. Come and see us at 134-145 Hoe Street.
