Rickmansworth Station provides a fast and frequent service via the Metropolitan Line to Baker Street and the City plus the Chiltern Turbo to Marylebone.
There is an excellent choice of schooling in the area both state and private, including St Clements Danes, Joan of Arc, York House and the Royal Masonic School for Girls.
Access to the M25 is at junction 17 or 18.
