5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
York & Elder is brilliantly located! Steps from the main Brighton station (7 min walk) and walking distance to the North Laines, city centre, and beach. Despite the central location, the building is peaceful and incredibly well soundproofed.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They've been absolutely fantastic - quick, professional, and always friendly. Any issues I've raised were resolved promptly and properly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Honestly, the team was very thorough in preparing and guiding us prior to moving in. We do have a York & Elder Resident group chat on WhatsApp which is very nice and friendly, I'd recommend asking to get added into it asap! It's only residents (not Y&E staff) and is for everything community and around the building related. Also, there is a little shortcut across the building to get up to Brighton Station which is a little not-so-hidden gem anymore but good to know!

Great access to the lanes and central parts of the city. Truly contemporary and offers loads of facilities in house. Could have been a nicer, posh locality but is great still!

Promptly, with efficiency and effectiveness. Alex is great and we love his presence and agility!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Having known you get offers for nearby restaurants was lovely! Would have loved to know ongoing offers, but knew that after moving in!

It's great to hear that you are enjoying the community and the ambience that has evolved and been created, and that all areas are kept clean. The community feedback is valuable to the team and I, therefore any ideas for further use of the communal kitchen area is equally welcomed. Thank you once again, Kind regards, Serena
