Horam is a village with local shops, dentist, vets, Co-Op store, cafes and various clubs and petrol station. There is a golf course, central field with running track, tennis club, pre-school and the local primary school is about half a mile away at Maynards Green. The house is within easy walking distance of the village and also to the Cuckoo Trail which is popular for walkers, runners and cyclists. A bus service for Heathfield Community College runs through the village as does regular services to Heathfield, Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne. the nearest main line station is at Buxted about 15 minutes drive but there are others stations in the area too about 20/25 minutes drive with services to London Bridge, Victoria, Charing Cross and Cannon Street. The larger towns of Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne are about a 30 minute drive. Heathfield is only 4 miles away and offers a very good range of local shops, medical services, supermarkets and amenities.
DIRECTIONS. Looking at the petrol station in the village, there is a row of cottages set down a bank to the left. This cottage is second from the end and there is parking directly in front on the road.
