The surrounding area has much to offer with Polo at Cowdray Park (6 miles west), racing at Goodwood (11 miles) and Fontwell (12 miles), golf at Cowdray Park, Goodwood, Pulborough (8 miles) and Liphook (16 miles), motor racing at the Goodwood circuit and sailing out of Chichester Harbour (32 miles) and other centres along the South Coast.
