Description

Russetts is a charming detached house situated in an AONB, just 100m from the centre of historic Westerham, with its pretty village green, period properties, good range of shopping facilities, antique shops and excellent restaurants. The property offers versatile and well-proportioned accommodation arranged over two floors, with connecting reception rooms providing excellent spaces for family living and entertaining. Externally the property benefits from west-facing gardens, driveway parking for multiple vehicles and a garage.

The principal reception rooms provide generous areas for formal and informal entertaining, comprising a sitting room with wood flooring and fitted shelving, and study/family room also with wood flooring, fitted furnishings and double doors leading to the garden.

The contemporary kitchen/dining room adjoins the family room, enjoys a generous skylight to the dining area and two sets of bi-fold doors to the south and west leading out to the terrace. The kitchen is fitted with a comprehensive range of wall and base units, an island incorporating a breakfast bar and integral appliances. A spacious utility room with outside access and a cloakroom complete the ground floor.

To the first floor is the principal bedroom with fitted furniture and a stylish en-suite shower room. There are two further double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and both with fitted storage and a family bathroom. A study with fitted furniture, which could be used as a fourth bedroom, completes the accommodation.

Outside the property a paved driveway provides parking for a number of vehicles, and there is access to the integral garage. Gated access leads to the front of the property.

The gardens provide a lovely backdrop to the house and are principally laid to lawn with mature trees and shrubs to the boundary which is also fence enclosed. There is a sunken paved terrace providing an excellent area for al fresco entertaining and a summerhouse.
