VENDORS COMMENT:
"This has been the perfect home to raise our 3 daughters, offering the best of both worlds; the City of London and vast areas of Nature on our doorstep. We have loved living in this house as it is very private and unimposing from the street, however, is deceptively large once you are inside. Our guests have always been surprised by the size of our home once entered. The house has been spacious enough for all the joys of modern family life holding special memories such as when our children took their first steps across the warm wooden oak floors. Our garden has been a space of nature, vegetation and life, with its mature trees, greenery and seasonal flowers such as daffodils and tulips that appear year after year. We have grown our own vegetables and fruit, and it's provided a space for our children to run around, jump and splash! Not forgetting the very special Apple tree that stands as a treasured feature in the garden. We've made lots of apple crumble with the fruit from this tree!
This is a home of peace and calm, with its cottagey vibe, and private garden, but also has quick links via a 25-minute train journey straight into Central London for work, culture and City life. Gatwick Airport is also located close by at c. 20-minute drive which has been very convenient over the years. There is stunning countryside close by within a 2-minute walk to Farthing Downs and Happy Valley a large area of outstanding natural beauty. We have enjoyed walks here on a weekly basis in the beautiful countryside with the skyline of London visible in the distance.
There is a very friendly community spirit in Coulsdon, revolving around the excellent local schools and amongst the walkers on Farthing Downs. Coulsdon has offered us everything we could ask for, providing a very social and family friendly town - from the local school community, to fabulous restaurants, gastropubs, coffee shops, wine bars, running clubs, yoga, Christmas Yuletides, fairs, art clubs and so much more.
This home has brought us such beautiful memories for the past 16 years, and we know it will do the same for the next owners."

About Hallways Estates, Croydon

Coulsdon, Surrey, CR5 2JF

In this modern and hectic paced industry, dominated by corporate agents and internet giants - somewhere along the way the most important factor has become overlooked - YOU and YOUR HOME.

Here at Hallways, we believe that your home is unique and should be treated as such, which is why founder Joanne Hall has developed a bespoke, individual service tailored on a home-by-home basis.

"Having spent many years in the property development industry working with estate agencies across the board, I have encountered most of the situations that might arise during your sale and your purchase.

I've realised that there is room and indeed the need for an independent and responsive approach. For an agent that is efficient, versatile and hands-on.

Not every case fits into a box and each vendor, purchaser, landlord or tenant have individual requirements that can't always be met by a one size fits all agency.

I've created Hallways to redress the balance and to offer a truly unique, individual service using my 23 years own experience in residential property, keeping the needs of my clients ALWAYS at the forefront."

Hallways are based in Coulson in Surrey and cover surrounding areas of Purley, Croydon, Sanderstead, Warlingham, Kenley, Caterham, Chipstead, Banstead, Wallington and Sutton.
