Situation - Kiln Close is a no-through-road which is situated near to the centre of Mevagissey.
Mevagissey is renowned for its historic harbour and surrounding the harbour is a myriad of narrow winding streets with a plethora of interesting shops, craftwork shops, art galleries, restaurants, cafes, hotels and local inns. The town caters well for everyday needs, whilst more extensive facilities including supermarkets, secondary schools and leisure facilities are available in St Austell about 5 miles to the north. From the village there are scenic coastal walks along the Southwest Coastal footpath and nearby beaches are at Porthpean, Pentewen, Gorran Haven and Vault Beach.
About 17 miles to the west is the cathedral city of Truro which forms the retailing, administrative and cultural centre of the county. There is a mainline railway station at St Austell.

Drive down the hill for about 400 yards and follow the road sharply around to the right. Continue down the hill, slow down, and the entrance to Kiln Close will be seen on the left-hand side. Drive to the end of Kiln Close and the car parking will be seen on the right-hand side. No. 42 is the second space from the left.
