Here's what the owners had to say when we were discussing Crookes and their home: "As soon as we first moved to Crookes 7 years ago, we knew this was where we wanted to buy our first home. The location means that we can take a short walk and be at the many great pubs and coffee shops in Crookes/Broomhill, take a stroll in Bole Hills, or hop in the car to enjoy long dog walks in the Peak District. We love this house, and it has been the perfect first home. We have been spoilt, having three good-sized bedrooms and a sunny, landscaped garden, where we have enjoyed many BBQs in the summer with friends and zoomies from our dog! There is a fabulous view of the whole of Sheffield from the top bedroom windows, which is particularly stunning at night or at sunrise. We love the character of the house, especially the high ceilings and cornicing, and having an en suite in the attic bedroom is brilliant for when we have guests to stay."
Stepping through the front door, you’re welcomed into the living room — a bright and spacious area with plenty of room for seating and a large window that fills the space with natural light. Beyond the stairs lies the dining kitchen, a modern and well-equipped space with sleek gloss units providing ample storage both above and below the worktop, plus a useful under-stair cupboard. You’ll find an electric oven, gas hob, slimline dishwasher, and space for a fridge, freezer, and washing machine. There’s room for a dining table, and an external door leads out to the rear garden.
Upstairs on the first floor are two bedrooms and the family bathroom. The primary bedroom at the front of the property is an impressively spacious double with a handy built-in cupboard under the stairs. The second bedroom overlooks the rear garden and is currently set up as a home office. The bathroom is finished to a high standard, featuring a bath, walk-in shower, towel radiator, WC, and a vanity unit with storage.
On the second floor is the third bedroom — a large double with a Velux window at the front, dormer window at the rear, and storage tucked neatly into the eaves. This room also enjoys the benefit of an en-suite complete with a shower, washbasin, and WC.
Outside, the front of the property features a neat forecourt with a path leading to the front door. The south-facing rear garden is a delightful space, boasting a lawn and a generous deck — perfect for summer barbecues or a quiet morning cup of tea.

Crookes is one of the most sought-after suburbs with young professionals and families as it has a fantastic, vibrant high street. There is a brilliant choice of coffee shops and cafes including Cloud Coffee Co. Lisboa Cafe & Patisserie, Dana Cafe, Pom Kitchen and Crumb to name a few. For that after-work pint, again there is a great choice with The Milestone, The Punch Bowl, The Ball, Early Bar and Two Sheds.
Crookes also has brilliant greenspaces, Bole Hills stands out, there is a playground, BMX track and you can enjoy incredible views down Rivelin Valley, especially at sunset. It’s an incredibly popular spot for dog owners too.
