There are a good collection of both state and private schools in the area and Grewelthorpe is in the catchment area for the sought-after Ripon Grammar school. Directions.
As you come into the village from Ripon carry into Grewelthorpe, past the pond and keep going past the pub and church. As you go down the hill travel straight on and then take the turning right to High Bramley. East Cottage will be found on the left after about a mile and a quarter.
