Description
Entering from the street you have a traditional zaguan entrance hall which leads into a central reception area , off this to the front is a bay windowed room which has served the purpose of home office.
The rest of the ground floor is semi open plan with hand built open shelving feature that divides the reception area and the main living room which is spacious and cosy at the same time .
Next there is the kitchen which is open to the living space ,it has a light and rustic design with original features such as the Campana with wooden trim , exposed stone work ,traditional Andalucia built under counter storage , with granite work tops and double ceramic sink . There is a gas range , under counter fridge and a breakfast bar , plus room for the dining table. The kitchen overlooks a small patio area , which houses a staircase to the mid terrace.
Off to the left of the patio is a laundry area and the ground floor shower room which has an ample shower , sink and loo . Across the patio is the old stable area which has served as a large dining room / bodega , with the original feeding troughs still in place , this would make a great games room if you wanted a pool table there is room !
On the first floor there is spacious double bedroom to the front with Juliet balcony , built wardrobe niches and dressing table area. Then there is the Master bedroom which is very spacious, with a beautiful cane and beam ceiling mimicking the original structure, Once again there are built in wardrobe spaces which have shelves and hanging space , then there is possibly the largest master bathroom I have ever seen , with a huge walk in shower , large double sink vanity a loo and lots of storage, and once again it has a charming beamed ceiling.
Now the outside spaces .
You have a mid terrace which can be accessed from the kitchen patio or from the mater suite , this is a great space for outdoor dining and living, there is a staircase from here leading up to the crowning glory of the mirador terrace with far reaching views over the country side to the mountains.
And as if all of this isn't enough above the previously mentioned stable there is the old hay loft which has been converted to a beautiful guest suite , a large double bedroom with high vaulted and beamed ceiling and an ensuite bathroom , this also can be accessed from the kitchen patio and has access to the mid terrace too.
This is a great house which although renovated, it is neutral and offers you the possibility to make it yours in terms of decor and furnishings. there is aircon in the master bedroom and ceiling fans in the others, double glazed throughout its a solid build with no real work required .
