Description
Description
A stunning edge-of-village family home providing a light-filled, contemporary ground floor design and a westerly-facing 75 ft garden.
Extended and designed by the current owners, the property totals 2,865 sq ft across two storeys benefiting from four first floor bedrooms, two providing en suite facilities together with a family bathroom. The ground floor accommodation starts with a traditional feel with a welcoming entrance lobby opening to an inner hall, a comfortable sitting room and a cloakroom. The house opens to a spectacular open design family/dining space with floor to ceiling glazing spanning much of the west-facing aspect, looking out, beyond the brick terrace, to the lawned garden. The kitchen continues the theme with bright open spaces and a selection of bespoke units set around a central breakfast bar. The kitchen has been fitted with an extensive range of appliances and leads to a spacious utility room with internal access to the garage. An imaginatively designed glazed home office is discreetly positioned and accessed from the inner hall, continuing the contemporary feel and connecting the accommodation beautifully.
Outside
The property is approached over a wide driveway accommodating parking and leading to a double garage with a useful side carport. There is an area of lawn to the front and side gated access leading to the rear garden. The garden extends from the rear of the property on to a wide terraced seating area opening to lawn with established shrub borders. The garden is west facing and extends to around 75 ft in length.
Beyond the garden is access to a small area of woodland which is currently used by the owners and neighbouring property at an annual rent of £90. The property also provides use of a further area of lawn to the front of the church, managed by Church Green residents, providing a wonderful space for resident events. The management and upkeep of this area is calculated with an annual fee of £100.
