Description

9 Jenny Lind Close is an exceptional modern, detached house built by David Wilson homes in 2018. Sitting on the edge of the development the property is well situated in a more prominent position.
Offering stylish, flexible and spacious accommodation, the property is both an ideal family home as well as suitable for couples looking to enjoy space.

The ground floor is entered by a most impressive hallway with central staircase. The well-designed layout around the hall means that the reception rooms flow perfectly for family living. The centerpiece of the house is the stunning kitchen/dining/family room complete with an island unit giving a social element to the room as well as built in appliances, neutral wall and base level units underneath wooden work surfaces and enough space to allow for a dining area and sofa area creating an idea family environment.
The owners have opened an attractive arch leading through to the sitting room complete with electric fireplace and further double doors into the gardens. Two further ground floor reception rooms make for a perfect home office as well as another TV room/playroom or what could perhaps be utilised as a ground floor bedroom if desired. The ground floor accommodation is completed with a cloakroom and a useful utility room.

To the first floor are five bedrooms accessed off a galleried landing, four of which are doubles. The principal bedroom benefits from both a four piece en suite and an array of built in wardrobes. Bedrooms two and three share a “Jack and Jill” en suite shower room with bedrooms four and five sharing the family bathroom, also a four-piece suite.

Outside
The gardens are mainly laid to lawn with a practical patio terrace having been extended to create an excellent outdoor entertaining area and pergola. Ample parking is provided via a double garage with power and lighting connected and space for two cars to the front.

Location

Jenny Lind Close is situated on the edge of the thriving market town of Aylsham. The historic market town lies on the River Bure and adjoins the Blickling Estate, a 17th century stately home set in over 4500 acres and the birthplace of Anne Boleyn, which has been in the care of the National Trust since 1940. The thriving town is picturesque with handsome Georgian architecture and a traditional market square where a farmers’ market is regularly held. The town is renowned for the independent shops, including Bread Source artisan bakery, Hodson & Co cheese room and delicatessen and further boutique shopping alongside butchers, grocers, and two supermarkets and a Co-op. There are public houses, restaurants and cafes and a Mark & Spencers store and petrol station. The town has a GP surgery and pharmacy, with state education. There are a plethora of local public houses to enjoy, including the Walpole Arms at Itteringham, The Bucks Arms at Blickling, The Saracens Head at Erpingham and the Gunton Arms at Thorpe Market, all renowned and deservedly popular. The Blicking Estate has a network of paths across the estate to enjoy, alongside the house that is open to the public. The Georgian town of Holt is about 11 miles, with a superb range of shopping, with the North Norfolk coast at Cromer about 10 miles, with much of the coastline designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with excellent sailing, bird watching, seal trips and a variety of restaurants and pubs. The cathedral city of Norwich is about 12 miles, with thriving retail, cultural and educational sectors and a main line rail service to London Liverpool Street, and an international airport with connecting flights via Schiphol.
