The Main House
A spacious, tiled, partially covered terrace leads you to the main entrance of this fabulous home. Upon entering, you are welcomed by a large, practical entrance area, where bricks from the old derelict bread oven have been cleverly repurposed. This space opens up into a stunning open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area, featuring an elevated corner wood-burning stove. Taking pride of place are the amazing hand-carved wooden steps up to the first floor. They are most definitely a unique work of art.

The kitchen boasts a beautiful large wooden center island with an integrated sink. The six-ring gas range takes pride of place on a stylish wooden worktop, making this a kitchen designed for both cooking and entertaining. Off this open area is a secret door leading to a cozy television snug. The proprietors have not only a flat-screen but also a projector for the walls, so two matches are perfectly possible.

Large double French doors seamlessly connect the indoors with the outdoors, offering delightful views of the charming garden and the wood-burning hot tub. The current owners have been remarkably successful in placing just the right kind of lighting throughout, creating shadows, highlighting key areas, and enhancing the overall design of the property.

Upon climbing up the bespoke steps, you have a fabulous view of the entire downstairs, giving this space a lovely spacious airy feel. To the left is an office/craft/yoga room which would make a great second bedroom should you require. It has its own shower room with W.C. and plenty of cupboard space. On the other side is a really glam bedroom (feels like a 5* hotel) with its own shower room and W.C. The views from these rooms are far-reaching and breathtaking. Gîte Number Two – Bumble Bee Cottage is conveniently located right next door yet maintains its privacy. The open-plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area are all situated on the ground floor, featuring an oven/wood-burning stove. The first floor features two charming double bedrooms and a well-appointed modern shower room with a WC.

While the layout may sound familiar, this gîte is anything but ordinary. The current owners use a Fire Stick for TV, but it is simple enough to install a satellite.
