Description
A personal comment from the owner
‘We were so excited when we found ‘Hillview’ back in 1992. We were immediately struck by its character and charm, and just knew it was right for us. Over the past 32 years we’ve improved and extended it into a very comfortable family home, and we’ve been incredibly happy here. The house has so many lovely features including a gorgeous fireplace, high ceilings, beautiful coving, original doors, and a lovely long, inviting garden. The newly built decking area is a great addition, enjoying the sunshine throughout the spring and summer months. ‘Hillview’ is situated in a private no-through road and benefits from a footpath leading up through the woods to the adjoining village of Naphill. Hughenden Valley itself, nestled in the beautiful Chiltern Hills, has a fantastic community run shop and café, a great pub, and offers numerous countryside walks directly from our front door. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found this most beautiful house, in such a wonderful location. It’s proved to be a very flexible family home, adapting to our changing needs and now that we’re moving on to somewhere new, still offers great potential for a new owner.’
