Our opinion
This is a nicely-designed, new-build chalet in an appealing, residential area within easy reach of the town centre and the Gaillands lake. It has wonderful views, a small but nice garden area and would make an easy-to-look after property for resident and second-home owners alike.
Location
Chalet Adamantin is located just over 1km (15-minute walk) to the west of Chamonix town centre and under 300 metres (4-minute walk) to the Gaillands lake, climbing wall and ropes park. From here, there are a number of trails leading into the forest and up onto the Balcons Sud.
There are bus stops nearby, plus a train station by the lake, or towards Chamonix at les Moussoux (same distance). The popular Vert Lodge, with bar and restaurant, plus summer buvette and Crémérie des Aiguilles restaurant, are all a stone’s throw away.
