Mareuil is a lovely little town with a very pretty town square and good range of local shops, restaurants and amenities.  Tuesdays is when the fresh produce market comes to town and there is also a trade fair on the 28th of each month.  The very popular riverside town of Brantome, and neighbouring Boudeilles, are just 10km away where there is always something going on and many hours can be whiled away watching the canoeists trying to navigate the weir without falling in….  Verteillac and Perigueux are also nearby and the property is equidistant between the airports at Limoges and Bergerac.
