It is about a twelve minute walk into the centre of Koroni which is a picturesque, small town with several churches, winding paths and cobbled lanes. Initially Venetian, it encloses a harbour with several working fishing boats and occasional yachts. There are several cafes, restaurants, tavernas, wine shops, bakers, a supermarket, a health centre, doctors, opticians, banks, pharmacies, ceramic, jewellery and clothes shops. The historic Venetian castle is an important historic monument where concerts are held outside in the summer.

The upper floor has three air conditioners in the living room and bedrooms to cool (and heat) this floor. There is also an open fireplace for winter. The water on both levels is heated by solar panels (with back up mains electricity in winter.) The lower floor is cooler in summer with one air conditioning unit and ceiling fans. There are two additional heaters if needed. Internet and telephone can be connected in two days (The neighbours have it but the owner prefers not to have an internet connection.) if anyone is interested in items in the house (except the pictures) these will be recorded and remain in the property when the owner vacates it.
