Since owning the lodge our clients have updated and improved the property, including a new wood-burner, new flooring, and a refitted ensuite shower room. The reception hall provides access to all rooms, including the dual aspect, vaulted sitting room with open plan dining room and kitchen. The sitting room has a wood burner with brick surround located in the corner. There are double doors to the rear terrace outside. The kitchen is conveniently set back with a breakfast bar divide from the dining area and is fully fitted with a range of appliances including an electric oven and hob with extractor hood. There are two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The main bedroom has an en suite shower room and the second bedroom has been fitted with a bespoke raised bed accessed by a wooden ladder to provide open space below for use as a study or extra sleeping space. There is a generous storage cupboard off the hall with plumbed space for washing machine and dryer.

Outside

The outside terrace is accessed from the sitting/dining room, via double doors, and provides extra entertaining space while retaining privacy. There is allocated parking with a pathway leading to the front door. Harleyford estate provides plenty of open space and there is also a Golf Course (subject to fees and membership).

Originally designed by Sir Robert Taylor in the late 1740's, the main Georgian house sits in the centre of this gated estate. Providing a tranquil setting, there is access to the Thames path and delightful walks across the Chiltern countryside. Within the estate is the magnificent Donald Steele designed 18 hole private members Golf Club with clubhouse and dining facilities. There is also an award winning marina. The charming historic town of Marlow is a few minutes drive with its excellent selection of shops, schools, bars and restaurants.
