This house has charm, character, love and is a beautiful home in Pego. Could easily be 5 bedrooms, current owners use is 3 bedrooms but with a little tweaking you can have 5 comfortably. 2 bathrooms, patio, terraces and a roof terrace.
The main entrance is through the original Valencian double opening doors with windows over and inset for natural light and shutters to block out the light and for privacy.
Upon entering the house, you just feel a WOW when you look up at the stunning barrelled ceilings and exposed timber beams.
Lounge dining room with double opening window with shutters to the front, the exposed timber beams continue through this stunning room, wood burning stove, ceiling fan, wall lighting, dining area, double opening Valencian doors to the kitchen, stairs to the first floor, doors leading to the downstairs bathroom.
Kitchen has a nice feel to it. Simple and functional with doors leading out to the rear patio. It has the barrelled ceilings and exposed timber beams which is a delight to see carried through the house. Freestanding, dishwasher, washing machine, fitted oven and hob, plenty of shelving and natural light.
Patio is very spacious with plenty of seating for dining and entertaining.
Downstairs bathroom with a full-length bath, separate shower, twin wash basins, W.C, window, various wall lights, very pretty tiled flooring and is really a lovely bathroom.
Split level landing with a spacious bedroom which has two sets of opening patio doors, 1 set looks over the courtyard and the other enters to a terrace, perfect for a coffee morning.
Shower room with a walk-in shower, W.C, wash basin pretty mosaic tiles on the flooring and walls, lighting and a window.
Music area on the landing has a window and this area could be an additional bedroom.
Main bedroom to the front of the house has two doors from the landing, and two patio doors inside leading to Juliette balconies, this room could comfortably be two separate bedrooms.
Next floor has a bed and this could be again divided into a separate bedroom, although this is the access to the roof terrace. You may not want to do that.
Roof terrace is spacious and sunny. Plenty of space for sunbathing and entertaining.
I love this house; it has been restored with love too. I would leave it as it is unless you need to create more bedrooms and then just a few tweaks to adapt.
The character is stunning and a rare find in a town. If you are looking for a house with character and that has been loved then this could be the one for you.
