There are two award winning public houses within “the Oddingtons”: The Fox and The Horse and Groom with many more just a few minutes’ drive away in Kingham and Bledington as well as Daylesford Organic Farmshop and spa which is a good walk away across countryside from the front door.

Trains run from Kingham Station directly to London Paddington taking approximately 90 minutes. The nearby towns of Stow on the Wold, Chipping Norton, Burford and Cheltenham provide shopping, banking, restaurants and social and cultural activities. Oxford is just 25 minutes away by train.

There are a range of excellent private and state schools. Theatres are in Chipping Norton, Oxford, Cheltenham and Stratford upon Avon. World renowned festivals of jazz, music, science and literature are held in Cheltenham as is the famous horse racing Festival. Golf Clubs in Burford and Naunton Downs.
