Sellers View..."There have been few owners of this spacious 86 years old house. We moved in 1979 and the previous owners had been here some 20+ years. It is a great family home - the self contained "granny flat", no longer occupied by family, has become a good source of additional income.

There is plenty of space for children and entertaining.Being in the catchment area for some excellent local schools was an important factor in our decision to buy, as was the short distance from Amersham and the fast train and tube to London. Both the local village shop and pub have been an additional plus!

The south facing garden has been a source of inspiration with a productive fruit and vegetable area, a spectacular array of shrubs and flowers, and a large lawn suitable for croquet, badminton and football. The more recently built conservatory provides changing panoramic views throughout the year. The kitchen enjoys views to both the front and rear.

Making better use of the space available, there are now ensuite bathrooms for all the four bedrooms, including one in the loft. It is a first choice for young visitors, and was ideal for my son during his 'heavy metal' period. Recently it was used as a quiet bedroom & study by the mother of the Ukrainian family we hosted.

Including the conservatory there are three large rooms for socialising, one of which was a playroom for young children, and now homes a table tennis table, gym equipment and a sizeable library!

There is plenty of room at the front for parking and numerous walks from the house. Hyde Heath is a quiet village which has a good community spirt with just the one through road. The local school is popular and there are two churches, a playground and the village cricket club.

Michael's View...I can see why my seller have lived here for some 45 years. Plenty of space outside and in. There's a lot on offer and the next owners of Pipers will probably make changes to the home - their new home and next 4 decades!
