Description

Situated along a peaceful lane and backing onto the river Thames, this very charming semi-detached cottage offers a tranquil setting with views over the river and Temple Mill Island. In a highly sought-after position, the cottage is within easy reach of the idyllic village of Temple, as well as the vibrant town of Marlow and excellent road links. The delightful 1950s property has been well maintained however it would benefit from some modernisation to make the most of its potential. The neutral interiors are light and airy, with the majority of the ground floor being open plan, with two sets of French doors opening to the rear garden.

The spacious ground floor is accessed via a glazed porch onto a reception hall leading to a well-equipped kitchen, cloakroom with WC, study and the open plan dining room, sitting room and family area. Upstairs there are three double bedrooms and a shower room.

The cottage has one of the larger plots of the row of cottages, situated at the far end of the row a short distance before the sailing club. Off-street parking to the front of the house provides space for two cars, and there is a shared access road next to the house that leads to a single garage en bloc. The rear garden is a good size and has been attractively landscaped to create a fantastic space for outside entertaining, with a terrace adjoining the house and a further paved seating area at the end of the garage. Established trees, mature hedges and landscaped flowerbeds border the lawn, which extends down to the banks of the river Thames where there is a mooring and step access to the water.
