Description

Occupying a superb position on the edge of the village this immaculately presented three bedroom terraced home benefits from a wealth of spacious, interchangeable accommodation, in addition to a driveway and garage.

Approach to the home is via a footpath with a well kept lawn and mature tree to one side. Once inside the home itself you’re immediately greeted by the entrance hall which has a staircase directly ahead leading to the first floor accommodation and, to the right hand side, the principal reception room, the lounge/diner. This commands impressive dimensions, in this case 23’0ft by 12’6ft, making for flexible furniture placement. To the far end ample space has also been afforded for a table and chairs, creating a real family/sociable area, whilst alongside is the kitchen. This has been fitted with a comprehensive range of floor and wall mounted units with darker contrasting work surfaces over, in addition to white tiling which has been added to the splashback areas. Beyond here is a separate utility room providing additional capacity for other free standing goods and completing this level is a beautiful conservatory overlooking the garden and ensuring the room is flooded with an abundance of natural daylight.

Moving upstairs the first floor landing gives way to all the accommodation on this level, the master bedroom of which nestles to the front elevation and has been decorated with stylish wallpaper. Of the remaining two bedrooms, one occupies the rear and measures 11’6ft by 9’10ft, whilst the other sits alongside at the front extending to 9’10ft by 9’10ft. They are all serviced by a bathroom which incorporates a panelled bath with shower unit and glass concertina screen positioned over, low level wc and a wash hand basin. Modern tiling adorns the splashback areas and the look is finished with a heated towel rail and obscure window.

Externally the rear garden is sizeable with a decked seating area as you step out, perfect for relaxing or entertaining, beyond which the remainder of the garden has been laid to lawn with the boundary enclosed by timber fencing and gated rear access painted in a contemporary dark grey colour. Positioned behind here is a driveway providing hard standing parking for two vehicles as well as a single garage accessed by an up and over door.

In more recent, light hearted village history Kevin McCloud, presenter of TV show Grand Designs was born and raised in Toddington, English poet William Blake is said to have drunk in the, now converted, Angel pub, whilst child actor Jack Wild, best known for his role as the Artful Dodger in the film Oliver is buried in the parish cemetery.
