Owners insights:
What do you love most about your home?
I moved in on the first day the building opened and have enjoyed every moment of living in this apartment. The dual aspect layout of the apartment is really successful; it is lovely and bright, with morning light in the bedrooms, and afternoon light on the balcony side. It’s located in a little quiet backwater, whilst being within easy reach of the nightlife and social life of Old Street, as well as The City. There is a concierge on duty from 7am to 8pm on weekdays, which is very helpful for receiving parcels, etc. I like that the development is split into a number of smaller buildings, so there are only three apartments per landing rather than endless corridors, which makes it feel more intimate and secure. The internal finishes are very high quality and easy to maintain. The showers are out of this world!
Why are you selling?
We recently got married and want to make a new start together, away from city life, so we are moving to Wales to live nearer to my elderly parents. I love hiking and look forward to being able to walk in the Welsh mountains from my doorstep.
What do you love about the area?
My favourite things about living in this area: It’s very well connected when I need to travel; the privilege of being able to walk to work and not having to take the tube to commute; being able to walk everywhere in central London; runs along the canal; Pophams for delicious pastries; the Barbican for concerts, theatre, cinema; the shops on Upper Street in Angel; amazing choice of restaurants, coffee shops and bars within easy access; William IV and The Wenlock Arms - the two locals are fabulous.
