The garden really is quite a feature. Created with winding paths, mature shrubs of all shapes and sizes, and a lovely additional feature of a summerhouse down at the end.

For those who dont know, Bradfield is a "medium-sized" village with a highly reputed local shop (and Post Office), a very popular primary school and nursery, as well as two pubs and a community centre. The village community centre is almost visible from the house. It is ideally located for easy access to the A120 for Harwich, Colchester and beyond.

Manningtree town centre is easily accessible by the Clacton Road, through Mistley Heath or, if youre feeling adventurous, a walk across the fields.

Although Manningtree has been labelled the smallest town in Britain, there are many pubs and restaurants, and the high street has a number of small independent shops, ranging from a well-packed delicatessen, great health food store, as well as the essential day-to-day supermarkets.

If you are a commuter, Mistley station is about 1.7 miles from the house. The station is on the Harwich/London Liverpool Street line. Alternatively, Manningtree station is just over 3 miles away. Manningtree station is on the InterCity main line to London, and has 3 direct services per hour running, Monday - Saturday daytimes, taking less than an hour to reach Liverpool Street station. There are also direct links to Colchester, Ipswich, Norwich and Stratford as well as a number of other places.

First Great Eastern run the number 103 and 104 bus services between Colchester and Harwich and stops in the centre of Bradfield. The bus stop is literally a stones throw from the house. The service runs every half hour between 07.30 and 18.30. A reduced service is also run between 18.30 and 23.00 and on Sundays.

Bradfield is edged by a beach jus t a stones throw from the house, which, in the right weather, is ideal for a leisurely walk. For the more avid walker, the famous "Essex Way", a footpath through Essex countryside from Harwich to Epping in South Essex, is close by, whilst the Stour estuary is just down the road. So if you enjoy the fields, the forests, or the water, this house is not far from any of them.

So all in all, a great opportunity to live in Bradfield, and enjoy a well presented house for the long term.
