Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s amazingly central to everything you could ever need! Although you never need to leave as you have everything but everything is on your doorstop with so many fab local businesses.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

See above but never ever had any issues - they’ve always been fab and prompt with everything

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Honestly when we had our viewing we were told everything so nothing was a surprise. If anything, anything new we learned was all positives.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This is my favourite area of Manchester with such lovely walks as well as cafes, restaurants and unique and beautiful shops. Only 15 minutes from northern quarter so very central but still away from any loud noise which makes it feel safe and homey

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly and efficiently and helped with any concerns I had

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing - it was a new build so a few things we had to find out once living here such as bills and council tax estimate but the building manager and staff have done a great job of keeping us informed and answering any queries

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We appreciate the convenient location of the apartment, which is only a 5-minute walk to the train station and a quick half-hour journey to London from the train station. The local area is safe and offers many excellent restaurants and shops. The apartment's windows effectively filter out train and traffic noise ensuring a quiet living environment.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responses are usually swift, whether through email or phone, which is great. The management and reception are willing to communicate.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The soundproofing within the building is excellent. We have never been disturbed by any noises from neighbours.

    The Almere, MK9

    The Almere, MK9

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Overall, living at the Almere has been a smooth experience. There are plenty of high-quality shops and restaurants nearby to suit any mood. Whether you're after a quick bite or a fancy meal, there's no shortage of options. The green spaces are lovely, with places like Willen Lake providing a great spot to unwind. Bin collections are generally reliable, and anti-social behaviour doesn’t seem to be an issue. Most streets feel quiet and safe, though some roads can get a bit noisy. The train station is convenient for London trips, making commuting easy. All in all, it’s a comfortable place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been responsive and efficient, quickly addressing any concerns raised. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, and communication is clear, making it easy to resolve issues without hassle. Overall, they provide a smooth and well-managed living experience.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We only did the viewing online since we were moving from abroad, but the process was smooth and hassle-free. The online viewing service provided was clear and well-organized, giving us a good feel for the apartment despite not seeing it in person. We had no issues throughout the experience, and the platform made it easy to explore the property remotely.

    Manager's response

Thank you so much for leaving us such a great review. We really appreciate it!

    The Almere, MK9

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of the Almere is second to none! Sainsbury's is across the street and we're surrounded by restaurants and bars of all cuisines and budget. The road links are great to get in an out of the City via car, plus one of the best Malls in the country is in walking distance. Its quite at night with no road or City noise and it feels safe to walk around at night too. The garage underneath provides excellent parking plus there's electric chargers for vehicles too.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The Building Management team have been amazing and have gone way beyond the norm to help us settle in and answer any questions we have. They are so genuine and friendly and it resonates in the environment and atmosphere within the Almere building.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The unit doesn't come with a microwave (but maybe that's normal in the UK?)
