Mount Coggill located on the outskirts of Borris, County Carlow, in the south-east of Ireland. Borris is a small Georgian town full of charm and heritage, nestled in the fertile valley of the River Barrow. Borris situated only 5km from Mount Coggill, has a range of shops and services for everyday requirements. Joyces bar is a popular local pub which also hosts the bakery and cafe Plur on weekends.

Graiguenamanagh, a pretty village set on the banks of the river Barrow, is 5km distant from the property. Boasting a wonderful range of cafes and eateries, Graiguenmanagh attracts visitors from the surrounding area. The village is popular amongst water sport enthusiasts, offering swimming, rowing, kayaking and angling.

St. Mullins (13km) in south County Carlow is an ecclesiastical village which provides everyday services along with good restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and the renowned GAA club St Mullins.

Kilkenny city is approximately a 25.5km drive away and offers a vibrant array of pubs, restaurants, and cafes, alongside it's rich historical attractions.
