Landlady’s comment:
“The Pink House has been a happy home to tenants for many years. It’s such a unique home and full of colour inside and out. When I bought The Pink House I lovingly restored it, enjoying discovering the original Victorian features. During this process, and before the home was pink, I was cycling along The High Street and passed a stunning pink building - research lead me to an Oxford College who owned it, and the warden ventured into the depths of the cellars and pulled out the old paint pot for me. I had it colour matched and painted the house the same colour pink! The surrounding area is so welcoming and benefits from a fantastic Oxford Community which is so special. The Cowley Road eateries are fabulous - and Il Principe on the corner of Temple Street is the best pizza ever! There are many parks close to The Pink House – especially Angel & Greyhound meadow, a glorious picnic spot by the river. With the house tucked away on a side street, it’s a lovely quiet peaceful retreat to come home to after enjoying the delights of the area.”
