The Baird s Farm shop is popular in the area - a multi-award winning family run business, selling local meat and a range of homemade bread and cakes. Nearby East Preston is another sea front village, popular with retired people. Rustington is the largest village in England with many shops & restaurants. The beach is a pleasant walk away. There is good access to A27 & A259 which links residents to Chichester, Portsmouth, Worthing and Brighton.

Arundel is a historic market town surrounded by woodland. Arundel Castle & the cathedral are major points of interest, it was famously the seat of The Dukes of Norfolk. Set in 40 acres of sweeping grounds and gardens it is one of the great treasure houses of England. Arundel also has many top quality restaurants and an annual music festival which attracts top artists. It's close to the renowned Goodwood race track which holds the festival of speed, the world's largest car event. Goodwood race course is close by home of the famous Glorious Goodwood race meeting over 5 days in late July, early August.
