Description
We do the same as all other estate agents, we just do it that much better. How? Simple, we have better photos, a better more detailed write-up to describe your home, an honest opinion, we're open longer and we have normal down to earth people working with us, just like you! It's really easy to be so much better...and backed up by our fantastic Google reviews.
We understand completely just how stressful selling and buying can be, we too have been there in your shoes. What we do know is, that with the right local family business behind you every step of the way throughout this process, you'll see how much easier it is for you when you choose Berry and George Estates to help you move better.
Listen, it's your money at the end of the day, all I try to do is help point you in the right direction - but I'd call Beth 'in-house' Voted Mortgage Broker of the year for the past three years for Free Mortgage Advice, just Google 'LoveMortgages Mold' and read their fabulous reviews, which back this up.
Located in the popular Village of Caergwrle and sitting on a quiet no through road, is this fabulous two bedroom detached bungalow that's ready and waiting for you to move straight into.
Pulling up on Derby Road outside no.69, the entrance to this special home is guarded by a couple of wooden gates, which are then bordered by some huge shrubs that offer a massive degree of privacy for the front garden area.
A block paved driveway leads you in and continues towards the rear of the bungalow, where some larger wooden gates take you into the back garden to another, more secure private parking. An area of shingle at the front of the home, also provides you with more parking should you need it - so if parking is a big thing on your checklist, then TICK!
As we step through the gorgeous front door, with its diamond glass portal and glass side panels, all to help keep the entrance porch area nice and bright. This is a handy place to have for wet shoes and coats to be taken off before we enter the entrance hallway.
Again, more glass in the wooden inner door with panels to either side of it, all help let the light flood in. Solid wood effect flooring welcomes you in and brings a lovely country cottage feel to this fabulous home. Doors open to all of the accommodation, obviously, with the first on our left to the lounge.
The wood effect floor continues on in here, with a huge window that looks out over the front garden. This is a nice and spacious room which currently houses some large settees, an armchair, a large dresser and to cap it all off, a log burner. No home is complete without one of these, where you can settle down with a glass of wine* in the evening, stick some dried pine cones on the burner and watch the lovely glow, listen to the crackle and smell the beautiful aroma as you gaze lovingly into your partners eyes.....or watch a good movie, I don't want to put ideas into your head.....but buy this bungalow.....haha!
*other drinks are available
The next room that we come to is the Kitchen / breakfast room, which actually is, a kitchen / breakfast room. All to often these words are banded together, and when you actually look, you're hard pushed to get a table in there.....but not here, a table and chairs you can get in, plus there is a fabulous breakfast bar, ideal for a couple of bar stools.
The stylish wooden counter tops form a U-shape in the kitchen, with floor mounted units beneath that provide storage space for all your needs. There's an integrated oven with a hob and a stainless steel extractor over it, plus some voids for a fridge, a washing machine and tumble dryer. On the wall, we have some rather lovely panelling to give it that old fashioned style, which is usually found in stately homes. A window allows light in and offers views over the rear garden when washing up. A door with a frosted window opens into the conservatory.
The large tiled and easy to maintain floor continues from the kitchen into here, with glass windows that fill three walls offering views across the whole garden. You could, if you wanted to spend some cash, turn this into more of an orangery. I'd stick a slate roof on it and open the kitchen up to create a more permanent room that you could use all year round. It would make an excellent dining room, add some Bi-Fold doors and you're away. Check with a professional builder first, just to see how this can be done, I'm only putting ideas your way.
From the hallway, we next come to the bathroom, or if we're being really pedantic, the shower room.
More stylish and easy to clean tiles adorn the floor, where we come to find all of the usual suspects associated with a shower room, sitting on them. We have the lovely curved shower cubicle with a fabulous rainforest shower head, there's even a handheld shower for those 'harder to reach' places. A contemporary vanity sink unit with chromed mixer tap offers ample storage space before we come to the obligatory, but ever so important, toilet. A frosted window allows plenty of light in, whilst keeping prying eyes out - no, it's really not that kind of area - with a heated chrome towel rail to help keep your towel nice and toasty. Fully tiled walls finish this room off!
I almost forgot the loft hatch, which is also in the bathroom, that does exactly what it says on the tin. I believe it is partly boarded and provides extra, very handy, storage space.
Next, we come to the second bedroom.
Currently in use as a dressing room, it has a large window that looks out over the rear garden and keeps it nice and bright. This room is plenty big enough for a large double bed with ample space for any auxiliary furniture. This would have been my main bedroom, but as I don't live here, it's not.
The final room we come to is, you guessed it, the main bedroom.
This is not too dissimilar in size to the last bedroom. Here though, we have the same flooring as the hallway, another large window, again offering light and views, this time over the front garden. The one thing we have here, and not in the other bedroom, is a wrought iron fireplace. Now, it's not for me to say, but I think this room should be hot enough to not need a fire, but I'm a married man with 2 kids.....where's the firefighter!
Stepping outside into the garden, you'll notice it's completely private, with large trees and shrubs that border two perimeter fences, the other with just a high fence. If sunbathing naked is your thing, then be rest assured, no one is looking. A large shed offers all the storage needs for your garden tools and there's a decent sized patio area for your sunchairs and BBQ's. This is a great space for entertaining friends and family or just relaxing with a good book and a Panama cigar or vape, your choice!
Caergwrle has it all, shops, café, petrol station with convenience store (and very cheap petrol*, Dr surgery, bakery, dentist, pub, cuddly toy, ghost bridge and so much more. It's equidistant from Mold and Wrexham and is easy to get to Broughton Shopping retail park and the A55, there's even a train station......I just don't understand why property prices around here are so cheap, this place is perfect!
