Romsdale occupies a magnificent shorefront location on the southern point of the Cowal Peninsula on the west coast of Scotland with spectacular views over the Clyde Estuary and towards Arran and Cumbrae.

The area is renowned for its natural scenic beauty and mild climate influenced by the Gulf Stream. Dunoon (around 8 miles) is the nearest main town and is a very popular tourist destination with a wide range of shopping and services including restaurants and leisure facilities. There are a number of golf courses in the region including Innellan, Dunoon and Strone. The surrounding area is a huge draw for visitors thanks to its natural beauty, forest trails and hillside tracks. Access to Glasgow is straightforward via car ferry from Dunoon to Gourock with Glasgow Airport and the city centre then easily reached.
