‘We have lived here for seven years, and having met in Bristol, we have made this our family home. We have treasured being in a vibrant, safe, and thriving part of Bristol. It’s accessible to all the things we need (work, social, gym, travel outside of Bristol) but acts as our own space away from everything. We enjoy our south facing garden in the spring and summer, but cosy up with a fire in living room in Autumn/Winter.’

Doone Road is a residential road in the heart of Horfield and a few minutes from Horfield Common, with lots of open space to enjoy. Bars, family pubs, and restaurants are abundant in this area. The Inn on The Green is the closest pub, which hosts regular beer festivals and offers great food, whilst The Wellington, and The Crafty Cow are equally as nice and close by. Several highly regarded eateries are also close to the property, such as Sabo Brasileiro, Lona, as well as Per & Kor. Many families have been drawn to the area for its highly rated schools including Filton Avenue, Horfield and Ashley Down Road. Buses run frequently along Gloucester Road to all major areas of Bristol, the City Centre, North Bristol, Cribbs Causeway and Bristol Parkway Station. Sports fans have a great selection of events nearby at the Gloucestershire County Cricket Ground which hosts county and international cricket, and the Memorial Stadium which is home to Bristol Rovers. Horfield Leisure Centre, Clifton Downs, and Blaise Castle Estate are regularly used by fitness enthusiasts and dog-walkers alike.
