Ref. E281 - Historic house in the town center of Ventimiglia, 100 meters from the sea. The house itself dates from the Eighteenth Century and because of the well and source of fresh drinking water, was frequently used by Garibaldi during his campaigns. The house is of circular shape and built over 3 levels. The motive for its circular shape was to allow the mule to constantly turn around the well, to bring up fresh water. The stone structure of the well remains, it is currently covered with a sheet of glass to make a centerpiece in the living room, where it features as a dining room table. External to the house remains all the mechanism for the well. The house is protected by the Belle Arte.

The layout of the house is as follows:
Ground floor. living room, kitchen and bathroom
First floor : sitting room, bedroom and bathroom
Second floor; bedroom and bathroom.
Each floor can be reached by external and internal staircases. The house of circa 110 mq is in very good condition, with super original features and distinctive wooden beams. On the lower ground floor there is a washing room and cellars. The house is set in circa 800 meters of land, it has a private drive, garage for 2 cars and space for 5/6 cars in the drive. The garden is prettily planted with olives and lemons. Outside of the kitchen is a large dining area and barbeque area, with covered seating for 8 people. It is possible to build a swimming pool.

The house is in the center of Ventimiglia, all services are easily reached by foot. The train to Nice and the Airport takes around half an hour.
