Communications are excellent, with the A3 providing a direct route to London or the south, linking with the M25 at Wisley for the airports and the national motorway network. There is a good rail service from Guildford, Worplesdon and Woking, with journey times to London Waterloo from around 23 minutes from Woking.

There is a wide choice of schools in the area, including Hoe Bridge and St Andrews in Woking, Tormead, Royal Grammar and Guildford High School in Guildford, St Catherine’s in Bramley and Charterhouse in Godalming.

Recreational opportunities include sport and leisure centres at Guildford and Woking, golf at Sutton Green, Woking, Worplesdon, West Hill and Wisley. In addition, there is ample opportunity for walking, cycling and riding in the surrounding countryside and along the River Wey.
