Description

Sellers Comment...
We've been in this house for over four years now and have loved living here. It's the garden we fell in love with and the reason we bought the house. It's spectacular and although we've done a lot to it ourselves, it still has so much potential! It's always full of life, not just the plants but birds, bees and butterflies. The Acer is especially stunning and we'd definitely take it with us if we could! The forest immediately behind also gives us amazing views and crucially, lots of privacy. It really is the most wonderful space overall. It's tranquil but it's also hosted a few great BBQs and parties! It's probably the thing we'll miss the most when we move.

But the house also has so many other great features and we've made a lot of improvements as well. Possibly our favourite addition is the log burner that we had put in. We actually look forward to the cold winter nights now because nothing has given us greater pleasure than lighting the fire when there's a chill in the air, opening a bottle of wine and just sitting there watching the flames! We also had the attic made into a great space for storage; it's fully-boarded and insulated, has a ladder and also power and lighting. It just helps so much because you can never have too much storage.

We also love the fact we have a much bigger than average driveway; parking is never a problem for ourselves and our visitors.

When we leave this house it will be a very sad for us but we'll be happy knowing that it's going to make a wonderful home for someone else and we're sure you'll be as happy here as we have been.

Will and Mike's Comment...
Our sellers have perfectly summed up why this is an excellent location and neighbourhood. If you are looking for a well looked after, three bedroom home with a huge garden, then this is not one to miss out on and we know this one is going to be a popular house.

At the front of this home you have a bright and airy entrance hall with a new front door which leads around to the left into a lovely lounge and dining space. What we love about this room is how light it is with the huge window at the front and the feature log burner that the sellers have added making it cosy during the colder months. You've also got the double doors that lead onto that stunning rear garden.

To the back, you will find the refitted kitchen which has been done to a great standard with built in appliances such as your dishwasher, fridge/ freezer and gas hob. It's worth noting that the boiler has been replaced for a combi, located in the kitchen. You've got the added benefit of a large storage cupboard which could be the ideal pantry or place to store your hoover/ ironing board. Not only this but into the hallway there is further storage under the stairs with two doors than open up to the rest of the staircase underneath.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms, with two of them being good size doubles. The master bedroom is at the back and is one of our personal favourite rooms in this house, not only is it a fantastic size but it also has a window overlooking the garden. As you can tell from the details, the sellers have also added built in wardrobes across one side of the room. The third bedroom is a good size single with built in storage over the top if the stairs and could make the perfect office as our sellers are currently using it as. The bathroom just across the landing but has been refitted recently with a superb finish, taking out the bath and replacing with a walk-in shower. This could easily be replaced back with a bath if you so wish.

Since the sellers purchased the house, the roof as been redone and they've also had the loft space boarded with a pull down ladder and lighting.

The rear garden is one of the biggest features and selling points of this home, as you can tell its great size and very private with it backing onto the protected woodland behind. Whilst to the front you have ample driveway parking for multiple vehicles and the outside brick built store which again has power and a window.

Whilst the house is ready to move into, it does offer great potential to extend (STP) and add value meaning this could be a longer term family home for someone. Homes with this size garden and in this condition rarely come available in Little Sandhurst, if you are looking for a great family home in an excellent location then this is not one to miss out on, we can't wait to take you on a tour.

Area Comment...
Longdown Road is a superb location set in Little Sandhurst with the property being towards the quieter end of the road. It is within walking distance to lovely woodland walks including Ambarrow Court and Wildmoor Heath Nature Reserve which is just a stone's throw away with acres of woodland to explore. The nearby villages of Sandhurst and Crowthorne offer good local facilities with their array of shops, restaurants and amenities together with a variety of state and private schools for all age groups. The biggest factor is that this home sits within walking distance of both New Scotland Hill and St. Michaels Primary Schools, but is catchment to the OUTSTANDING Edgbarrow secondary school also. There are some great places to eat and drink locally but one of the most popular and only a couple of minutes walk way, is the Bird In Hand Pub which serves some excellent home made food. Little Sandhurst is ideally placed for commuters with the M3 and M4 motorway networks within easy access. In addition, the local railway links being only at 16 minute walk to Sandhurst Train Station.
