    Living in my area has its perks and drawbacks. On the positive side, the neighborhood is generally quiet, and there are plenty of parks and green spaces for outdoor activities. Public transportation is fairly accessible, and essential amenities like grocery stores and pharmacies are within walking distance. However, the cost of living has been steadily increasing, making it harder for young people to afford housing. Additionally, some areas could use better street lighting and more community-oriented events to foster a stronger sense of connection.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    The building management has been generally responsive to issues raised. They address maintenance requests promptly, and Charlotte at the front desk is particularly attentive, ensuring concerns are communicated effectively. However, some larger issues, like ongoing construction disruptions, have taken longer to resolve than expected.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    The building management has been generally responsive to issues raised. They address maintenance requests promptly, and Charlotte at the front desk is particularly attentive, ensuring concerns are communicated effectively. However, some larger issues, like ongoing construction disruptions, have taken longer to resolve than expected. One thing I wish I had known before moving in is the extent of ongoing construction. The noise and disruptions have been more persistent than anticipated, affecting the overall living experience.

    It’s very good I really I enjoy living in This area and moda. The area offers a great mix of local shops, restaurants, and green spaces. There’s a friendly vibe, with plenty of places to eat and relax. Transport links are reliable, though peak times can get busy. My street is generally quiet with decent parking, regular bin collections, and little to no anti-social behaviour. Traffic noise is minimal, making it a comfortable place to live.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    When the heating stopped working during a cold spell, I reported it to management and they responded the same day. A contractor was sent out within 24 hours, and the issue was fully resolved quickly and professionally. Their fast action really stood out.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    One thing you might not notice from a viewing is how quiet and friendly the neighbours are—there’s a real sense of community here. The bins fill up quickly, so it’s best to take yours out early on collection day. Also, parking is easier later in the evening. A great tip: Abdul and Charlotte Shari are super helpful don’t hesitate to reach out to them if you need anything!

    Really close to everything, call lane is really close - shout out Jake’s Bar. Easy to get everywhere and there’s 2 roof terraces which are great in sun

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Really quick, I didn’t realise the water has an auto shut off to prevent leaks but the front desk quickly showed me how to turn it back on

    I wish I’d known more about what brands they have partnerships with. So many discounts I didn’t realise I could get

    The center is nice and nearby as well as their being the bus station nearby. Please open cafes in the area next to sainsburys

    Building management has been very good with me. Especially Abdul, Sotiris and Charlotte

    I wish I had known that the study room was an available amenity as I didn’t know much about it.

    Living in my local area has both advantages and disadvantages. On the positive side, it’s a peaceful neighborhood with friendly people and a strong sense of community. Public transportation is reliable, and there are plenty of parks and local shops within walking distance. The schools are good, and it’s generally a safe place to live. However, there are some downsides. The cost of living is relatively high, especially housing prices and rent. Traffic congestion during peak hours can be frustrating, and parking is often difficult to find. Additionally, while there are some entertainment options, they are limited compared to larger cities. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to live, but it may not suit those looking for a more vibrant lifestyle.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    The building management has been prompt and helpful in addressing any issues I’ve raised. They usually respond quickly, communicate clearly, and follow up to ensure the problem is fully resolved. Their professionalism gives residents peace of mind.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how limited the parking options are, especially during evenings and weekends. It’s something that doesn’t stand out during a typical viewing but can become a daily inconvenience. I’d also advise new neighbors to get to know the building managers early on—Charlotte and Abdul are incredibly helpful and make settling in much easier. Also, joining the residents’ WhatsApp or community group is a great way to stay informed and feel connected.
