What attracted you to the property when you bought it ?

What initially attracted us to this property was its well-designed layout, featuring four generously sized bedrooms.
The lounge and kitchen/dining area are spacious, offering a sense of openness and comfort that stood out compared to other new builds we had viewed. 
We waited a long time for this house to be built, about 12 months, having bought it off plan. We had to move into rented accommodation for 12 months to wait for it to be ready. 
We chose it for the guaranteed catchment area for a fabulous school, which is hard to find in Tunbridge Wells.
We moved into a building site and over the years as the development grew and new areas opened, I felt more and more assured that the initial wait was worth it.

 
What improvements have you made to the house ?

I wanted to put my stamp on the house, so I have decorated using high end paints and papers. The loft was boarded to create more than ample storage space. In 2021 the back garden had composite decking and astro turf added, to create a low maintenance garden that my children use all year round. I will definitely be replicating this in my next home. 
 
 
What have you enjoyed about living there ?

Over the last 9 years, we have really enjoyed living in the Knights Wood community which we have found to be not only friendly but active and inclusive. It has always felt like a safe, quiet and clean environment.
We have loved the woodland walks and excellent amenities including onsite and nearby schools, a cinema, and a gym. The ease of access to the A21, the M25, and the south coast, alongside a west-facing garden that catches the sun from spring to autumn, and the convenient KW1 bus service to Tonbridge rail station for London commuting, has made this a great place to live. 
We have also benefitted from very affordable energy bills and running costs. 

As a final personal note we are hoping to stay on Knights Wood if possible but if not, we will be sad to leave.
