The property is fully enclosed and quite private, while still affording views of the surrounding hills and citrus groves. The area is peaceful and perfect for walking or cycling, with easy access to nature trails. It is about a 10-minute cycle to Vale Fuzeiros with a selection of cafés and restaurants.  The market town of São Bartolomeu de Messines is a 5-minute drive with shops, restaurants, library, health centre and train station with connections to Lisbon. The medieval town of Silves is just over 10 minutes away, and there are international schools (Dutch, German and English-language) within 10-20km.   It is about a 25-minute drive to the coast and 45 minutes from Faro airport.
