5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in Stratford’s Coppermaker Square has been a great experience overall. The location is incredibly convenient — with Westfield Stratford City just next door, there’s a huge range of shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes to choose from. You’re also close to beautiful open spaces like the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Hackney Marshes, which are ideal for walking, running, or spending time outdoors. Transport links are a major highlight. Stratford Station is only a few minutes’ walk away and gives you access to the Central and Jubilee lines, DLR, Overground, and National Rail, making it really easy to get around London or head further out. However, the station can get very crowded during peak hours and on event days at the nearby stadium. The immediate area around Coppermaker Square feels modern and secure. The street is quiet most of the time, though you do occasionally hear noise from traffic or people heading to Westfield. There’s not much in the way of antisocial behaviour, and it feels like a safe and well-managed part of Stratford. Parking isn’t widely available and can be costly, so it’s best suited to those who rely on public transport. Overall, it’s a vibrant, well-connected area with excellent amenities and a strong sense of community.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management has responded almost immediately to any issues I have raised. All my have also been resolved within a few hours of reporting.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is just how busy Stratford Station and Westfield can get, especially on weekends and event days at the stadium. It’s manageable, but worth being prepared for if you prefer quieter surroundings. I’d also suggest getting familiar with the residents’ app early on — it’s the best way to stay informed about events, maintenance updates, and connecting with neighbours. Lastly, take advantage of the co-working spaces and social events — they’re great for meeting people and really help you feel part of the community.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Parks here aren’t just for photos — they’re part of daily life. Whether it’s a run through the quieter corners of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park or a lazy Saturday afternoon by the canals, there’s a kind of openness that many parts of London have lost. And as for connections? Stratford doesn’t just link you to the rest of the city — it connects you to what’s next.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Sai is truly a standout member of the reception team. What really makes Sai exceptional, though, is her ability to connect with people, you can count on Sai to make your experience feel personal and seamless.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving here is just how much of a hidden gem the local area is. I initially thought of it as just a convenient place to live, but over time, I realized how much the neighbourhood offers in terms of culture, green spaces, and local spots that aren’t immediately obvious.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Walk around Stratford and you’ll notice how it refuses to be defined by one thing. On one street, you’ll find West African grocers and family-run cafes; on the next, co-working spaces and sleek, eco-conscious apartments. It’s not trying to be trendy — it just is what it is: diverse, ambitious, and real.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Sai from the reception team is always so helpful and kind. She knows her stuff and has a warm personality that really makes you feel at home. She is always happy and smiling which has a very positive feel.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
