Wembworthy is a small and peaceful village situated centrally within Devon, centred around St. Michaels church which was largely rebuilt 1868 and restored again in 1902. Winkleigh (approx 2 miles) and Chulmleigh (approx 5.5 miles) both offer primary schools, with secondary schooling also available at the latter. Nearby access to the A377 provides an easy link to the larger towns of South Molton, Crediton and Barnstaple. Exeter is approx. 24 miles distance. Each providing an extensive range of shopping, banking, leisure, recreational and educational facilities.
