"Planning permission for a change of use at 212 Darnall Road will be required in order to occupy as residential - the use will need to go from Use Class F1 to C3. 2-3 bedroom properties need a minimum of 2 offroad parking spaces where possible and this would be the preference in this case. The wall to the front is listed and there is a significant drop in level to the side access, making parking almost impossible
The planners have informally said that if parking is not created within the properties demise then it is likely that parking restrictions will be required on Darnall Road, directly adjacent to the site, in order to maintain highway safety at the junction with Basford Road (which is opposite the site).
