5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There is a bus stop outside of Corkfield that you can use to head straight to the Bullring. This takes about 10 minutes and is very convenient, providing an excellent variety of shops and restaurants. Across the road is an Aldi, and a bit further down the Bristol road is a larger Sainsbury's if you prefer to do a shop there. Cannon Hill Park is also a 5 minute walk from Corkfield too which is nice if you enjoy short walks. Bin collections are frequent, and from my personal experience, there has never been any sort of anti-social behaviour. Although Corkfield is situated on a busy road, the apartments do a good job at not letting any of the noise in, so it remains quiet inside.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had one issue with the electrics tripping in my apartment. Unfortunately, the usual maintenance guy was on holiday, however, the management team made sure to hire someone externally to resolve the problem. Was dealt with quickly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
If there's ever any issues I'd say to flag them to management straight away, they will do what they can to sort it out. Since there are a few people on the management team, it may be worth mentioning to more than one person if the issue is important, just to make sure nothing get by unresolved.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The castings is located in ancoats, it’s very close to picadilly station and the city centre. There are lots of nice cafes near by. Another plus is Islington canal which is really nice!! Limited parking unfortunately but some street parking but not reliable
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very quick to attend to repairs and help with any problems. It’s very easy to get a hold of them
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Not as close to the university as I expected and transport links to there aren’t the best

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location of the building is really convenient. It’s an easy walk to Piccadilly station, the city centre, Ancoats and the Northern Quarter – all within about 15 minutes. The canal route into town is a nice touch too, especially on a sunny day. New Islington Marina is just around the corner and a great spot to sit out by the water, though it can get pretty busy when the sun’s out. There is also a green space being developed along Great Ancoats Street, near the marina. There’s an Aldi less than 10 minutes away which is super handy, plus a few local shops nearby that stay open later. For going out, Ancoats and the Northern Quarter are packed with bars and restaurants, and you’ve got even more options once you’re in the city centre. Great Ancoats Street is quite close, but with the windows closed, it’s generally quiet – just the odd siren now and then. Public transport is easy too, with the New Islington tram stop about a five-minute walk away.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Maintenance respond quickly to any maintenance requests raised and have fully resolved all issues.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Aldi is less than 10mins walk and the New Islington Marina is a great place to enjoy the sun.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area leaves nothing to be desired! There are great coffee shops nearby, the canal offers a lovely dose of nature (and swans!), the Northern Quarter is about a 15-minute walk away, and Piccadilly Station is just 5 minutes. Considering we're just a road over from some popular breweries, it's surprisingly not that noisy—especially on weekdays.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
All issues we have had have been solved quickly, eveyone who works here is also very charismatic which is a bonus.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
So far, everything has been exactly as advertised—we’ve lived here since September. Great location, lovely flat, and an all-round positive experience.
