The nearby A36 provides convenient access to the cathedral City of Salisbury and Bath, whilst the A303 is also within striking distance which gives direct access to London and the west country.

Continue along here and on entering the village turn right at the left hand bend signposted Tilshead and continue into Townsend whereupon 6 Townsend will be seen towards the end on the left hand side.
