Richmond House is part of an extended luxury development of apartment blocks and town houses in Highfield Gardens, and is the most exclusive block in the scheme. There are only 9 apartments in Richmond House and it has its very own private parking gate that can only be used by the residents in Richmond House. Richmond House offers the most privacy in the whole development and the specification is of a higher calibre to some of the other blocks in the development.
You would have use of the extensive south facing communal gardens at Bloomsbury House which offers sunlight from 8am through to 6pm in the summer! Bloomsbury House is a short walk from Richmond House within Highfield Gardens. The development on a whole has a brilliant community spirit and this really shines through during the summer months when people congregate in the gardens at Bloomsbury House.
There are visitors parking spaces as well should you have family and friends over.
The property on offer comprises of a spacious hallway entrance with cloak room, that leads through beautifully to all other rooms in the apartment. There is a separate fully integrated kitchen with a full size dishwasher, washer-dryer, full size fridge freezer, cooker and hob; the kitchen has been maintained to a high standard and the units and work surface are of a high specification. A short walk down the hallway you have a large lounge with bay area over looking the front gardens; the lounge is fully furnished with a sofa, two chairs, dining table and four chairs, TV stand, coffee table and book stand. There are two brilliantly sized double bedrooms facing the rear gardens of the development; the slightly larger bedroom consists of a double bed, two bedside tables, a desk and triple built-in wardrobe, and the second bedroom consists of a king-size bed, two bedside tables, chest of drawers and a quadruple built-in wardrobe. Finally there is a good-sized bathroom with over-hanging shower; the bathroom has been tiled throughout surrounding the bath.
The apartment is gas centrally heated, comes with an allocated parking space, has a secure and well maintained communal entrance and lift, the communal grounds and gardens are regularly maintained, and all of this situated within a gated development.
The apartment is in walking distance of Birmingham City Centre, and is within easy access of Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham University, and offers excellent transport links into Birmingham City Centre including the highly anticipated tram line direct into the City Centre.
The tram line is a short 5 minute walk from the apartment which will take you into Colmore Row and Paradise Circus within 5-10 minutes and HS2 Train Station a further 5 minutes once completed in 2026. The tram line from Edgbaston is due for completion in the summer of 2022 so you will be able to benefit from the convenience of this public transport instead of driving into the busy City Centre and Clean Air Zone.
Richmond House is just outside the Clean Air Zone.
The Edgbaston Village with all its high-end eateries including Michelin Star Restaurant Simpsons are a stone's throw away and the surrounding schools within the catchment area have some of the best ratings in the UK. Schools such as Highfield Nursery, Hallfield School, Edgbaston School for Girls and West House.
The area is located close to the business district in Edgbaston and Birmingham City Centre including the NEW HSBC HQ, BT, Deloitte, PWC UK HQ, HMRC and HS2 Midlands.
The area is flourishing and is a highly desirable area to live, work and socialise.
