Description
The completely renovated apartment has large panoramic windows (southfacing) with a wonderful view of the hills and mountains.
The property is the perfect mix of both rustic and modern styles and covers approximately 130 sqm on 3 floors.
The property has been renovated to an excellent standard with high quality materials and finishes, including parquet floors, double-glazed windows, marble counter tops with stone sink in the tavern. Exposed brick walls are present throughout the basement tavern, the old high ceiling beams lend an extraordinary atmosphere, dating back to the last century.
The property can be reached from the main square of the historic centre of the village through small streets adorned with pots of flowers and plants, the alley way leading to the entrance of the flat is very private, and the space in front of the door is exclusive to the property.
On the GROUND FLOOR the armoured door opens to a large entrance hall which can be used in many ways depending on requirements, from the entrance hall heading to the left leads to the dining room with a sitting area, to the right a bathroom with shower. From the living room there is access to a lovely kitchen and a pantry room.
A few steps lead to the BASEMENT FLOOR, the most characteristic area of the house which is the tavern, all the walls and ceilings have been sandblasted and the old bricks exposed, and a fireplace has been built into the wall.
From the ground floor the staircase leads to the FIRST FLOOR with a large room, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and a store room used as a utility room.
PIANELLA - PESCARA PROVINCE
The town of Pianella is in an ideal position, close to both the Adriatic coast and airport. It is on a plain at 236 metres above sea level and is known as La Terra dell-Olio, the ‘Land of Oil' which is famous with food lovers throughout Italy. The many olive groves can be seen from the surrounding roads approaching the town.
The history of the area dates to the Neolithic period with later objects being discovered from cultures including Greek, Roman and Medieval. In fact, it is still possible to view parts of the medieval wall surrounding the town. There are interesting examples of 18th Century civil architecture and several historic churches. The social fabric of the 1700s included wealthy families and artisans of all types including glass makers, tailors, saddlers, coopers, oil and wine makers.
With a population of 8,611, there are plenty of amenities in the town including banks, post office, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, pharmacies and shops.
